The article presents results of theoretical and experimental studies the processes iron solid-phase reduction from an iron-containing concentrate obtained as a result hydrometallurgical dressing ferromanganese polymetallic manganese-containing ores with coals grades D (long-flame) 2B (brown). method thermodynamic modeling using TERRA software complex was used to study reducing properties hydrocarbons by calculating equilibrium compositions in temperature range 373–1873 K. authors dependences volume gas phase formed release volatile components during heating on for under consideration.
